Apple launches iTunes Music Store in India and 55 other countries

Apple has launched of the iTunes Store in India, Russia, Turkey, South Africa and 52 additional countries featuring an incredible selection of local and international music from all the major labels and thousands of independent labels. With this the iTunes store is now available in 119 countries. The iTunes Store features local artists including Elka in Russia, Sezen Aksu in Turkey, AR Rahman in India, and Zahara in South Africa, international artists including The Beatles, Taylor Swift and Coldplay, and world-renowned classical musicians including Lang Lang, Yo Yo Ma and Yuja Wang. Customers can choose from over 20 million songs available to purchase and download on the iTunes Store.
Going region specific with India, the store has music priced between Rs 12 and Rs 15. The albums prices are ranging from Rs 72 to Rs 108. Movies are priced between Rs 290 and Rs 490 for purchase and can be rented for Rs 120. Ring tones are priced between Rs 12 and Rs 15. iTunes Match is now available for an annual subscription of Rs 1,20
